Maintenance Engineering

MISSION: Follow Maintenance Engineering development for an EPC Contract. Follow the execution of the Scope of Work ensuring compliance with contractual documents. Participate to multi-disciplinary workshop with the Client – mostly FMECA/RCM workshops.  

During Home office:  
• Assist the O&M manager in supervising the Maintenance Engineering Scope of Work for the project, 
• Assist and actively participate to all FMECA / RCM workshops with the client and the subcontractor, 

Review and comment on all related maintenance deliverable: 
o Asset criticality study, 
o RCM reports 
o Lubrication registers and schedule, 
o Maintenance procedures with relevant spare part, 
o Condition Based Maintenance, 
o Lifecycle cost model, 
o Asset register, 
o Maintenance Manuals, 

• Ensure maintenance-built completeness and consistency for the newly built LNG liquefaction train, 
• Review and comment for data consistency within all maintenance related deliverable, 
• Review all maintenance manuals received from vendors, 
• Interface with Engineering, Operation and Process teams when required, 
 
Annexes to the project: 
• Report to and support the O&M Manager, 
• Give relevant maintenance input to the team members when and if required, 
• Participate to different meetings (internal and with external stakeholders), 
• Participate to the development of O&M methods when required 

Possible further site mobilization – Execution not limited to :  
• Supervise maintenance activities on site and ensure traceability of all maintenance activities performed on live systems prior to PAC.  
• Ensure top up of all oil before PAC. 
• Interface with CPY, Vendors and others when required. 
• Actively ensure compliance with all HSE requirements and responsibilities 
• Follow-up the consumable and material to guaranty the performance of the interim period for operations 
• May Perform a key role in emergency response leadership and work management, in particular the application and administration of the Permit system and associated procedures 
 
Required competencies: 
• Good Interpersonal skills,  
• Maintenance Engineering experience is mandatory (Preferably as part of MIEC organisation) 
• Proficiency in RCM processes is mandatory 
• Excellent communication skills both Oral and Writing – English is mandatory 
• Must have a recognised technical qualification for the Position, 
• Engineering degree with experience in the fields of operational maintenance activities, 
• Has methodological approach on maintenance execution,  
• Ability to work within a multi-discipline integrated project team 

Experience: 
More than ten years’ combined experience in Oil and Gas Maintenance Operations (LNG experience is a +) and projects, including:  
• Engineering degree in maintenance management,  
• Significant experience in Maintenance Engineering development (MIEC preferred) 
• Proficiency in RCM processes – ideally performed in Multidisciplinary Workshop, 
• Working knowledge of troubleshooting process problems and upsets, 
• Knowledge of CMMS (SAP is preferred) 
• Relevant experience in LNG industry with experience in the fields of operation & maintenance would be an advantage,

People & Management 
• Ensure Maintenance Engineering scope is delivered in a high-quality level according to the schedule, 
 
Working conditions: 
• Position based in Paris with the client operating Center with possible site and Operating Center mission to support projects if required Working relationship: 
• Report to O&M manager 
• Interfaced with : 
o Commissioning team, 
o Client teams, 
o Subcontractors, 
o Interface with project management, engineering team and procurement
